No guarantee of wildlife sightings

Tadoba is a wild tiger reserve, not a zoo. Sightings of tigers, leopards, sloth bears, wild dogs, and other animals depend on weather, season, animal movement, zone routing, and other factors entirely outside our control. We do not guarantee any particular sighting on any drive, and refunds are not offered on the basis of missed or limited sightings.

Safari permits and government rules

All safari permits are issued by the Maharashtra Forest Department through their official portal. Their decisions on the following are final and override any expectation that may have been set by our website, brochures, or staff:

• Zone allocations, route changes, and gate closures.
• Vehicle and tourist limits per safari slot.
• Identity verification at the gate — guests must carry the exact government-issued ID submitted at the time of booking.
• Buffer- and core-zone entry rules, including monsoon closures and last-minute suspensions.

Pricing and availability

Package rates, safari fees, and stay tariffs displayed on the site are indicative. Final pricing may change due to Forest Department fee revisions, GST or other tax changes, fuel adjustments, and seasonal demand. A booking is confirmed only when the final amount and itinerary are acknowledged by us in writing via email or WhatsApp.

Health, safety, and travel risk

Guests undertake jungle drives and forest stays at their own risk. Conditions you should be prepared for include dust, heat, cold mornings, insects, uneven terrain, long bumpy rides in open vehicles, and close proximity to wild animals. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance. Our safaris are not suitable for guests with serious cardiac, respiratory, mobility, or other medical conditions without clearance from their doctor, and we accept no liability for medical incidents arising during a drive or stay.

Our total aggregate liability for any direct claim is limited to the amount actually paid by you to us for the specific booking that gave rise to the claim.

Force majeure

We are not liable for any cancellation, delay, or change in services caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, floods, fires, earthquakes, government action, court orders, civil unrest, pandemics or epidemics, transport strikes, road closures, and abrupt Forest Department directives.

Indemnity

By using this site or booking our services, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Tadoba Safaris and Stays, its directors, employees, and partners from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these terms or your violation of any law or third-party right.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and this disclaimer are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this website or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nagpur, Maharashtra.
